No, it's not fitted to record sound! What sound would it record? The wind against the mic? Atmospheric density is not like on Earth so it couldn't record any sound particularly well, anyway.

4 päeva tagasi
Tara Blue

It is fitted to record sound. Sounds will likely be muted because of low atmospheric density but that is still interesting to test. A good test is to play "Stairway to heaven" and record it while playing, and compare it to the same test on Earth using the same equipment.

If what I heard was factual information the duel rotor copter drone only has about 1.5 minute flight time. I think back to my first drone I bought that had a 10 minute flight time and only 8 minutes of that time was utilized in flight. That’s about 5 minutes of exploring, 3 mins to get you back home. So I assume the Mars drone can only safely fly about 30 +- secs before it has to negotiate its return home. I’m a simple person, so I wonder...how is this useful?

It's mostly an experiment to see if they could eventually sent much better designs, because this is the first of its kind also Mars has a much lower gravity field but the atmo is super thin so those are the things they had to contend with.

It takes about a week for the rover to be fully deployed, powered, tested (for damage and or malfunction during it's flight and landing) and for it to have received all command instructions for it's first journey away from the landing site. (The landing is fully autonomous, but after that's over it still needs to be programmed/driven). Technology has come a long way but there's still a 24 minute roundtrip gap for all command/acknowledgements to be sent and received by the rover/NASA control centers. There's also a cut off time when the Earth is facing away from Mars. Considering one of the priority pictures is a pan aramaic photo (or rover selfie as has become tradition) ... And that hasnt been taken yet... It's fair to assume the boom arm hasn't been deployed yet and that the photos we see are from the arm still docked in it's flight position.

Force equals mass times acceleration. Rocket plumes have considerable mass, and they are ejected at great speed. Therefore, a force is imparted on the vessel. This force is equal and opposite to the force of the rocket plume. Rockets don’t have to “push against” atmosphere to work. Atmosphere actually reduces thrust. You’ve got it backwards lol

With no lockdowns and no masks. Of course the CDC does not make it easy now to find these figures but they are there. Ask yourself are masks and lockdowns working? Of course not! There is certainly no data supporting it! One reason Sweden stopped the masks. Also Sick Kids Hospital here in Toronto have been saying for 6 months that children should not ever need to wear masks, not ever. They are Canada's leading experts. Did the government listen to them? NO. Ask yourself why not. Stop being a lemming.

@Travis Hills the Dark angel bunny "its all computer generated" thats what all these conspiracy theorists say but have no evidence. You live in a world of denial.

@Arai Yakomo the moon landing wasn't faked, idiot. lol. if the moon landings were faked it would've been exposed already, nearly half a million people worked on the apollo project and the USSR congratulated the US after the landing.

@Potatoman it's all computer animated since 1990s-2020s you would think that they would have real highly detailed and realistic footage that even the Chinese space program has good high quality pictures and video of the Moon surface. But the NASA government has never came back to the Moon because they're hiding something on the surface so that Moon.

@Arai Yakomo yeh right... they could do it several times but they risked their reputation by faking the 1st one. Makes sens...

@matydrum how many moon landings has there been? They could have been left there plenty of times. I'm saying the FIRST moon landing was fake.

@A K Don't waste any more energy on this person. They have to be trolling. I am 100% certain this person is either a troll, or is heavily religious and believes the sun rays we receive every day is the light of God's asshole shitting directly onto Earth.

@WOLFY AKA YAWZ BOY!! Haha brat! You've felt right into my trap! Why do you think that I asked you on the availability of Wikipedia in you region? Instead of providing the link for actual articles? Why did I do this you might ask? BECAUSE FINDING ARTICLES ON THE SPECIFIC EXPERIMENTS TAKES A LOT OF TIME And now that I know that you don't trust Wikipedia, I would've only wasted my time if I had looked all over for articles about EM radiation experiments since obviously you wouldn't trust it either Thank You for saving my time Edit : BTW A Wikipedia article cites it's sources for each of it's sentences , it's not like you can randomly edit whatever the fk on an article, so your lack of faith in it's legitimacy is misplaced to a great extent

They should have sent a copy of Led Zeppelin's album " Physical Graffiti" with that space craft. There is a song on that album called The Rover. Really good Zeppelin song! 😆

@John Connor as I said, you deny it and roam off fake proof and evidence a basement dweller made because it doesn't follow his bible or they got bored and wanted to troll people who don't understand simple plotpoint algorithms with fake evidence

@Dan Mickalow you realize this isn't actually far-fetched right? They use an algorithm that they can input coordinates in. I see you're definitely someone that doesn't understand so you immediately go to denial, I don't blame you for being simple minded, trying to get attention because logic and reality defies what you believe so you try and claim something is fake when it really isn't, none of the moon landings were fake either, they used the same algorithms they did then that they use now now stop looking at people making up fake evidence and research the reality and how people land objects on things, even though you obviously will continue to deny it since you don't understand And yes I do know for a fact it's true

@I'll Dissect You Slowly yeah but you will never really ever know if its really true or not! You just take nasas word for it! Its too far fetched for me and NASA is a deciever like most of America!

For real, why did he keep calling it a probe. Sure it contains a probe on it to drill down into the surface but it's a rover.
